	Citizenship and Democratic Legitimacy in the EU
	CIDEL ended officially on 31 October 2005, after a duration of three years. This website will continue to be updated with new publications from the project. CIDEL involves ten partner institutions in six European countries. Scientific Responsible is Prof. Erik O. Eriksen at the coordinating partner ARENA at the University of Oslo.See also the Integrated Project RECON - Reconstituting Democracy in Europe, which started on 1 January 2007 and will last for five years. The project is coordinated by Prof. Erik O. Eriksen at ARENA. Much of the research from CIDEL will be developed further in RECON, which consists of nine thematic work packages.
